Tom Warren

Founder and Managing Principal

Tom Warren is Founder and Managing Principal responsible for identifying the group’s opportunities and maintaining relationships with its operating developers and partners. Mr. Warren began his real estate career more than 30 years ago as an investor, developer and manager of various types of real estate. During that time Mr. Warren has been President of two real estate firms, General Partner for numerous real estate ventures, and a Partner with a national multifamily investment bank.

Prior to Momentum, Warren was a Partner with Hendricks & Partners where he was an awarded top producer. During his 13-year tenure there, Tom was engaged in all core business aspects of the multifamily investment bank including advisory, acquisitions, dispositions, debt and equity.

Mr. Warren’s early business career started in the 1970’s with oil & gas partnerships and operating companies. In the early 1980’s he helped found multifaceted investment, development and construction companies in Colorado and Texas. He joined Dallas-based Miller Commercial as Senior Vice President 1994 to help lead the apartment group. Concurrent with founding Momentum, Tom also co-founded Warsaw Realty Group, a Dallas-based firm focused on real estate debt & equity. In his career Mr. Warren has been involved in real estate development, investment and brokerage transactions approaching $2 billion.

Mr. Warren has a unique national view of the U.S. and Texas markets with a recognized expertise in multifamily. Mr. Warren received a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A & M University and attended graduate school at the University of Wyoming. Mr. Warren is a past member of the Board of Directors for the National Multi Housing Council, a member of NTCAR, and a frequent speaker and presenter on the Texas and national apartment market.
